The Atari version of this popular Unix text editor. JOVE is a modified version of EMACS but has gained popularity in its own right. It's entirely text based and blatantly unfriendly to the newcomer. It's a 100% faithful implementation of JOVE. Although purely text based, it supports the editing of multiple documents, cutting and pasting between documents, search and replace and everything else you'd expect. Its strength comes in the form of its in-built command language and the ability to run predefined macros. JOVE is supplied along with the Gulam command shell and includes (ZIPped) C source code.
