Universal sample recording studio. SAM reads data from various 8-bit samplers into its sample editor. Besides block operations, it offers numerous manipulation possibilities, effects and filters such as reverse, echo, fade in, fade out, VCF, fuzz, vocoder, modulation, background, gain, attenuation, scratch, offbeat and chorus. The edited samples are now combined into a flow chart. Thus a few samples become a complete song. For professional work SAM offers an oscilloscope with automatic triggering, a spectroscope for real-time Fourier analysis and a function generator for sound synthesis. For programmers there are routines to play the songs, all in all an ideal tool to create sounds and songs. Also reads and generates the sample format for CrazySounds, converts different sample rates.
