• Midisend
  Midisend is a desk accessory that sends a string of MIDI data to a MIDI instrument through the built in MIDI sockets. When the accessory is selected, a dialogue box appears waiting for you to input a string of MIDI data in hexadecimal format. When you have typed the data, click on SEND to transmit it. The hexadecimal characters must be in lower case.

  ROBO BOP lets you create rhythm patterns by pasting notes into grids. A left click programs a grid and right clicking erases one. Any volume can be programed into any grid. Clicking on a numbered square selects a pattern. Rhythms are played as MIDI notes so a MIDI drum machine or synth is required. This version of ROBO BOP has only 4 patterns available. Registered versions will have 32.

  K-Sculpt is (at this current moment in time) a librarian only for Kawai K1 series synths. Basically, it enables sounds and banks of sounds to be transferred from the ST to the K1 and vice versa, and enables them to be saved to disk. It is possible to reorganise and sort banks of sounds, and up to eight banks can be held in the computer's memory (4 patch banks of up to 64 patches each, and 4 multi banks of up to 32 multi's each).

  MIDI Spy is a MIDI recording tool that allows you to record and play back MIDI in a multi-tasking environment. It runs as either a program or an accessory. When installed as an accessory, it works completely in the background. This means that it is always in record mode (unless you disable it).

  This compositional aid is able to convert 16-colour low resolution pictures directly into MIDI music data. The operator selects four areas of a picture to be processed. Each of these areas, called Tracks, has its own MIDI channel, transposition, and associated scale. On playing back music the program scans the areas horizontally, pixel by pixel.

Patterns can be created and sent to a number of different MIDI devices, producing both notes and also such effects as pitch bend, patch change, or controller. Patterns can also be transposed in real time utilising either the mouse or MIDI input from a suitable controller keyboard.
