J0-E (Janitor grade 0 - electronic, or Joey for short) is a somewhat outdated maintenance droid who has reached the pinnacle of his career as general dogsbody aboard the garbage scow ISS Unbearable. Today his task is to paint the cargo holds of the ship. Unfortunately, it's a fact of life in the universe that where you have garbage, you have Greenies. These amorphous creatures are non-agressive and generally harmless, but their bodies conduct electricity and Joey's insulation is long overdue for replacement, so any contact with them will cause a short circuit.
