RS_Speed provides additional baud rates for the serial interface on standard STs, i.e. 260, 520, 520+, 1040 (also STE), Mega ST (but not STE). These baud rates are 38400, 57600, and 115200 baud. To achieve this, the MFP68901, which is responsible for the RS-232 interface, is operated at higher clock rates than those normally provided (i.e., from the timer output of the MFP).
