As an editor for X-ray structural data, X-GINEER is designed to open up the diversity of structures published in chemical literature to the ATARI ST. In addition to input routines that can be operated via both the keyboard and the mouse, X-GINEER has a graphics layer in which the fractional coordinates can be viewed and printed in various rotation angles and display forms, a range of editing functions (orthonormalization, substitutions, inversion... ) and a stack with bond lengths, bond angles, and dihedral angles for measuring the 3D projections.
