A chatter filter is a tool that can save you a lot of hassle and time when exchanging mouse data. WatchDog performs this task in conjunction with the mouse exchange front end CAT, version 1.2 or higher. Before being inserted into the CAT database, each message from the last mouse exchange is checked by WatchDog to see whether it meets certain configurable criteria and is then either inserted or rejected.
